Sharya Wick

I’m Sharya :)

A Sri Lankan born, Melbourne based artist. I enjoy creating art that is vibrant, playful and tell a story. I'm always inspired by the wonder of nature, mythology, cultures, folklore and their connection to each other and enjoy creating work that celebrates this!

I've been drawing and creating for as long as I can remember. Fairytales and magic worlds were things I would often escape into as a kid, while an obsession with nature grew mostly thanks to my father and grandfather. They are things that I hold close to my heart and continue to be a big influence in my work.

Having completed a Bachelor of Design in Animation and Interactive Media, I have developed a strong interest in character design and concept art. Apart from my personal projects, I work as a freelance illustrator on book covers, editorial and packaging design.

You can purchase original artwork and prints of my work here ( shipping within Australia only. Contact me via email for overseas shipping. )
